Our Community Committee, alongside our Diversity & Inclusion team, recently welcomed students from Breakthrough Central Texas to our downtown office and introduced them to the world of public accounting. With interactive sessions like a personal finance and budgeting workshop, service line roundtable discussions, and a Q&A panel with Team ML&R members who are first-generation college graduates, the day was filled with laughter and invaluable insights.
Breakthrough Central Texas creates a path to and through college for over 3,000 Central Texas students who will become the first in their families to earn a college degree. We are thankful for the opportunity to play a small part in supporting this organization that is making a positive impact in our community by helping students reach their fullest potential
