Our community committee recently partnered with Foundation Communities to build “Welcome Home Baskets” for new residents at our biannual firmwide meeting. In total, Team ML&R was able to collect 77 items and $510 in cash to provide 10 baskets filled with household necessities to offer new residents a fresh start.
About the ML&R Community Committee
Chaired by ML&R Risk Assurance & Advisory Partner Kate Williams, the ML&R Community Committee sets out to: 1) ensure everyone at ML&R feels empowered to unapologetically support the various causes they care about, and 2) create opportunities for employees to give their time, talents, and treasure to serve others in the Austin area. Current committee members include Shannon Peterson, Laura Turner, Amy Gates, and Katy Fangman.
